EXPERIENCE IN CIVIL AND CRIMINAL: 17 Years of Practice: 11 years as a Deputy District Attorney | 6 years in high-stakes litigation at a national law firm based in Palo Alto. 5 years as an adjunct Professor at Santa Clara School of Law.


Deputy District Attorney | Santa Clara County (2014 – Present)

11 Years of Public Service & Criminal Prosecution


  • Experience: Prosecute complex white-collar cases, including corporate embezzlement, money laundering, Ponzi schemes, health care fraud, tax fraud and worker exploitation.


  • Specialized Expertise: AI, attorney-client privilege, money laundering, and illegal gambling. 


  • National Recognition: Recipient of the NHCAA "Case of the Year" (2024) for the successful prosecution of a $40 million medical insurance fraud scheme.


  • Digital Asset Forfeiture: Seized and forfeited $8.4 million in cryptocurrency—the largest recovery of digital assets in SCCDAO history.


  • Public Integrity: Successfully convicted a San Jose police officer and co-defendants in an $18 million conspiracy and fraud case.


  • Multi-jurisdiction Arson: Convicted a multi-jurisdictional arson ring responsible for approximately 10 state-wide arsons.


  • Victim Advocacy: Lead prosecutor for complex white-collar cases resulting in Tens of Millions recovered for victims of embezzlement, money laundering, and fraud.

  • Complex Civil Litigation: Represented global technology clients in state and federal courts across antitrust, securities, and product liability matters.


  • Trial & Arbitration: Member of the trial team for a six-week, billion-dollar public nuisance trial. Third-chaired a semiconductor arbitration resulting in a complete $8.4 million award for the client.


Adjunct Professor | Santa Clara University School of Law (2019 – 2024)


  • Taught semester-long courses on Critical Lawyering Skills to the next generation of attorneys while maintaining a full-time prosecution caseload.
